Christine (Chris) Dotts is a communications and marketing leader with over 20 years of experience spanning media and public relations, crisis communications, employee communications, digital marketing, brand and positioning strategy. She has worked for three Fortune 500 companies, and the majority of her career has touched the technology industry. Most recently, Chris was the Vice President of Corporate Communications at Avnet where she oversaw media relations and employee communications during a CEO transition, a major divestiture and new acquisitions shifting the company’s business model. In 2017, Avnet unveiled a new brand, and Chris led an effort to redefine a value proposition designed to reintroduce its role in the market.

Chris spent 18 years at Intel Corporation in many roles and executed communications campaigns measurably improving perceptions of technology leadership and corporate reputation. Chris developed strong relationships with technology and business journalists, earning Intel valuable media coverage and thought-leadership profiles in publications and outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Fast Company, Fortune, WIRED, CNBC and CNN. She had the honor of hosting President Obama and coordinating his public visits at Intel’s U.S. factories. Prior to Intel, she spent several years in the began in the medical device industry in sales and marketing management roles.

Chris holds a MBA from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science degree in communication from Arizona State University (ASU). She sits on the Endowment Board of Trustees for the ASU Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
