CYPRESS MICROSYSTEMS SELECTS BRODEUR WORLDWIDE AS AGENCY OF RECORD
Brodeur to Lead Strategic Communications Program including Public Relations, Marketing Communications and Competitive Intelligence
Boston - March 16, 2004 - Brodeur Worldwide, a unit of Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC), today announced it was selected by Cypress MicroSystems as its strategic communications partner and agency of record in the U.S. Cypress MicroSystems of Lynnwood, Wash., chose Brodeur Worldwide for its experienced microelectronics team and tightly integrated worldwide network of communications, public relations and marketing consultants. Cypress MicroSystems is a subsidiary of Cypress Semiconductor.
The comprehensive public relations program will include planning and strategy development, positioning and messaging, competitive intelligence, media relations, industry trade and market analyst outreach, and measurement, among other activities.
Brodeur’s offices in San Francisco and Phoenix will lead the U.S.-based communications program. Cypress Semiconductor also works with Brodeur Worldwide in France and Brodeur partner, IBI, in Japan.

Cypress MicroSystems designs, develops, manufactures and markets the Programmable System-on-Chip (PSoC)™. PSoCs are important because they replace multiple traditional microntroller-based system components with one, low cost single-chip programmable component.
