John Brodeur began his career as a journalist, working for the UPI and as a general assignment reporter for two daily newspapers. After moving to Washington, D.C., he managed a congressional staff and served as press secretary to a United States Senator. John returned to Nevada in 1979 and founded the Brodeur/Martin Company, a public relations firm that became one of the leading agencies in the western United States. He moved to Boston in 1985 and founded Brodeur & Partners, a public relations agency dedicated solely to technology clients. Omnicom Group Inc. purchased the agency in 1993. John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Nevada and a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
Andrea Coville

A founding partner of Brodeur, Andrea Coville leads Brodeur’s global executive team, plays an active role as a senior client consultant, and is involved in the branding, marketing, and strategic positioning of the company. Formerly president of Brodeur (and before that, general manager and managing partner), Andy’s past and present client work includes IBM, Philips, IKON Office Solutions, Baan, Fidelity Investments, Pitney Bowes and 3M. Before joining Brodeur, Andy was with the West Coast-based PR firm Franson & Associates, and at Infocom, an entertainment software company. She began her career as a journalist writing for New England-area newspapers and magazines. Andy earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature and journalism at the University of New Hampshire.

Michael Brewer brings nearly 20 years of public relations and communications experience to his position as the founder and leader of Brodeur’s Consumer Group. He also serves as a senior counselor to clients across the agency and his specialty is in the areas of brand positioning, communications strategy and planning, and message development. He has counseled numerous clients on the establishment of new brands, and brings a level of creativity to clients that helps differentiate their businesses in the marketplace. Over the years, Brewer’s client portfolio has ranged from emerging start-ups to global leaders in business. His client work falls into a number of categories, including consumer technology, financial services, healthcare, and online retail and media. Brewer has been with the agency for 11 years and is a member of the agency’s senior leadership team. Prior to joining Brodeur, Brewer worked at Ingalls, Quinn & Johnson PR, and Hill Holliday, Connors, and Cosmopulos where he managed a number of high tech and consumer marketing clients. He holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Boston University.
Jerry Johnson

In addition to heading up Brodeur’s New York and DC offices, Jerry Johnson directs the agency’s issues management and public affairs practice. He has nearly 20 years experience in advising corporations, trade associations and foreign governments on corporate communications, public relations and public affairs strategies. Before joining Brodeur, Jerry was with the public policy and market research firm Frederick Schneiders. Jerry was a founding member of the Washington-based public relations and public affairs firm Powell Tate and worked as a vice president at Ogilvy & Mathers Public Affairs. During the 1980s Jerry was senior political affairs advisor to the Japanese Government. Jerry received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, his Master’s at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and his doctorate at the University of Strasbourg, France.
Judy Feder

Judy brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications for technology-driven companies. She has a proven ability to provide actionable counsel to senior communications and line of business executives, with a strong focus on competitive intelligence and positioning. Judy has been a senior communications counselor to MasterCard at both a strategic and tactical level. She is also the senior counselor for Brodeur to IBM, where her responsibilities include leading the IBM Global Financing account team. Judy began her career as an analyst at International Data Corporation (IDC). She holds a BA in History from Princeton University.
Steve Marchant

Steve Marchant brings a variety of high technology communications experience to his position at Brodeur. As senior vice president, he manages all phases of public relations strategies and programs, including branding initiatives, strategic counsel, media relations and trade show exhibitions. His responsibilities also include managing client and employee satisfaction and providing senior counsel for programs and initiatives. In addition, Steve maintains strong relationships with top-tier media to secure positive press and editorial coverage for clients. Working with a range of public and private companies, his account work has included external relations and strategy for Corning Incorporated, Novell, Inc., IKON Office Solutions, PerkinElmer, Inc., DataMirror, TRW, and communications efforts surrounding the initial public offering for FirePond, a provider of e-business software solutions. Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Boston University.
Rick Allen

Prior to joining Brodeur in 2006 Rick Allen was managing director of the EBA Group in Hong Kong for 10 years. During this period he grew the agency’s business from a small team of 12 to over 50 staff with four offices in Hong Kong and China. In developing the business, he provided senior counsel to clients, including market entry strategy for companies entering the region for the first time. Previously, he accrued 23 years' experience in the technology sector in both Europe and Asia. He started his career at Burroughs (now Unisys) in London where he spent 13 years in software development. He then worked with two successive Silicon Valley start-ups, having European roles including technical support, sales and marketing. He moved to Hong Kong in 1992 to join another Silicon Valley computer systems company (Pyramid Technology) as sales and marketing director where he had responsibility for Southeast Asia and India. A Canadian, Rick studied mathematics, physics and computer science at the University of British Columbia.
