Brodeur Partners is seeking a motivated and eager Account Coordinator (AC) to join our New York City team. The AC position is the first step in a career in communications and if you are passionate about public relations, a multitasker with strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you!
The AC is pivotal to Brodeur’s client account teams by providing organizational, administrative and logistical support. The AC will learn from the best of the best and gain experience working in: traditional and social media, blogger and analyst relations; client, competitor and new business research; coverage and client reporting; content creation; and other communications activities.
Qualified applicants should have: a Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, communications or related field; an internship or six+ months experience in public relations (agency or corporate), marketing communications, journalism or related field; proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of software; solid understanding of social media including Twitter, Facebook, etc.; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to organize multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
